The Trial of the Big 'Bad' Wolf
[15043]
$18.35

The Trial of the Big 'Bad' Wolf is an amusing story with a very different twist. After years of suffering and multiple surgeries, Mr. Wolf learns he is the laughing stock of the town. How to rectify this situation is upper most in his mind. Should he leave town and relocate else where or should he go to trial? After conferring with his family Mr. Wolf hires a lawyer and sues the pig brothers for damages. This story is told in present tense. The courtroom is crowded with various Rhyme-Ville characters and a court reporter has been hired to follow the story to its conclusion.

The Trial of the Big 'Bad' Wolf is written to give the reader a different version of what was read so long ago. Since the Three Pigs have had their day, the Wolf feels compelled to tell his side of the story. By bringing charges against the pig brothers, Mr. Wolf feels he can now be exonerated. Some biblical references are used. Although this book is designed for children, it is also a delight to adults.

Reviews

Recommended Uses:
Teaches a child the difference between acceptable and non-acceptable behavior. “Your honor, ladies and gentlemen of the jury, it is my intent to show that Mr. Wolf could in no way have done the things he has been outrageously accused of. I will prove that Mr. Wolf’s reputation has been badly damaged and that due to the malicious acts of those three pigs, my client has suffered mental as well as physical damages and must be compensated. Because my client has also been the source of malicious slander we are also suing the so called ‘Eyewitness’ for publishing such false and unfounded statements. When you hear my client’s heart wrenching testimony, you will have no choice but to find him innocent, as well as brave, and award him the damages he seeks.”
