Physical Education - Balance - Steps. These discs, made of nice-to-the-touch rubber, challenge the sense of touch on both hands and feet and encourage verbal descriptions of sensory impressions. They contain five tactile surfaces, each with it's own color. Each of the five surfaces can be found on a large disc for positioning on the floor and a small disc that can be held in the hand. Discs offer innumerable activity possibilities, ranging from fundamental sensing of the tactile surfaces to blindfold games based on memory and recognition. Games are adaptable to fit differing levels of functionality.
