A self-monitoring traffic light, sound meter. The green light stays lit until noise in the classroom goes above the set level (determined by teacher), green light then goes off and flashing yellow light comes on as a warning. When the sound level reaches 20 decibels above the set level, the red light and siren sound comes on. The teacher or parent can adjust acceptable levels of noise for quiet activities or louder group work, and also has the option of turning the siren sound off.
